About Dr. Mortazavi

Dr. Mortazavi is a neurosurgeon specialist, skull base and brain vascular specialist, and the director and founder of Mortazavi Comprehensive Neurology Clinic in Iran and America, who in addition to teaching and researching in this field, complex tumors and vascular lesions of the brain and spinal cord are also operated and treated.
After completing his secondary education at Alborz High School in Tehran, he studied medicine, orthopedics and spine specialist at Karolinska University in Stockholm, Sweden, and then went to the University of Alabama in Birmingham, USA, to acquire expertise in neurosurgery. Professors such as Mark Hadley, James Markert, Winfield Fisher and Shane Tubbs have studied, and have received numerous awards during this course, including the Richard Morawetz and Beverley Walters Research Awards. He completed his postdoctoral research fellowship in trauma and neurorehabilitation at Barrow Neurological Institute under the supervision of Nicholas Theodore and Robert Spetzler and won the American Association of Neurological Surgeons Annual Spinal Cord Award. 
Dr. Mortazavi is very interested in the progress of neurosurgery, and in this regard, more than 100 scientific articles have been published in prestigious neurosurgery journals, he has collaborated in writing several books in this field, and he is a member of the editorial board of several journals. They are also scientifically valid. In order to transfer his knowledge and skills to others, he has been a guide to many neurosurgery students and doctors in Iran and America. 
He, who previously treated and operated patients in America, and in this regard, is a member of specialized institutions and organizations in the field of neurology, such as the American Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS), the American Medical Association (AMA), the Association of Neurological Surgeons  and California Neurology (CANS), Western American Society of Neurological Surgery (WNS),  American Society of Neurological Surgeons (AANS),  North American Skull Base Society (NASBS), International College of American Surgeons (ICS) , Society for Imaging and Therapy Brain (SBMT), and Majid Samii Cranial Base Surgery Association (MASSIN), in the winter of 1400, by establishing the Mortazavi Comprehensive Brain and Neurology Clinic in their country, they set out to make the world's knowledge in this field available to their compatriots. , and train the new generation of doctors and treat patients in Iran.
